Luis Solis - President  (Executive Producer)

Luis Solis established Soltieri Productions in 1995 with his brother Carlos Solis.  He first began in the industry as a voice over artist, along with dubbing and translating for feature films and television series. In addition, he was a sports caster for Speed Channel and Fox Sports.  Luis also was the creator and producer for televised sports specials. With Luis’ back rou    nd in business, financial affairs, and public relations it has allowed him to develop the vision for the Production Department, which he opened in 2007, where his goal is to produce feature Independent films with a business model where the return of investment can be almost secure through distribution deals and pre sale in domestic and foreign territories.

Carlos Solis -  VP of Sound Services

(Re-recording Mixer CAS)

Carlos Solis has been mixing the sound for feature films, television series, and top recording music artist for more than 18 years from studios such as Warner Brothers, Sony, HBO, and Disney.  Some of his work includes the international versions of  “Iron Man 2”, “Harry Potter 7”, "Batman Begins" and "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". Carlos also does the mixing for Henson’s TV animated series, "Sid the Science Kid", along with a variety of projects for Spike TV.

Meli Paige - VP of Development

Meli Paige first began her career as a successful actress and model.  She attended the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute for three years to study acting and directing, while also studying the Meisner Technique, along with improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade. Meli previously attended the prestigious Los Angeles Theater Academy where she learned the workings of behind the scenes with lights, cameras, props, and set design.

Meli Paige then began working as a freelance developer with a wide variety of studios, such as Warner Brothers and Paramount.  She was then hired as Vice President of Development for Soltieri Productions where she overviews the development process from beginning to end.

Paul Petcheck

Paul Petschek is an internationally known editor specializing in feature films, documentaries, and short films. He graduated with Magna Cum Laude from Harvard University and has worked on blockbusters such as; “Waterworld”,“Flipper”, and "The Karate Kid”.  Paul has also had the opportunity to work with directors Martin Scorsese and Thelma Schoonmaker, along with being nominated for an Academy Award.  

Paul currently teaches at The University of Southern California. He is an Avid-Certified Instructor and a member of The Motion Picture Editors Guild and The Directors Guild of America.

Mike Strout

Mike Strout first began his career at Backstage Productions as a producer, writer, and editor.  With over twenty years of industry experience, Mike established Phase One Productions, which specializes in electronic publicity, including EPK’s, television specials, talent profiles, press junkets, and audio/visual coverage of special events. Some of the company’s top clients include 20th Century Fox, Fox Searchlight, and Fox International Theatrical.   

Michael Lanteri 

Michael Lantieri is best known for his work in all three of the “Jurassic Park” Movies, Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland”,  “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest”, “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade”, “A.I.”, and “Who Framed Roger Rabbit”. He won an Academy Award for his work in  “A.I.”, he was nominated another nineteen times and has also won six BAFTA film awards.  Michael has worked with many notable directors such as, Steven Spielberg, Robert Zemeckis, Paul Thomas Anderson, Francis Ford Coppola, and Tim Burton.

Maurice Kelly & George Blumetti

With a combined experience of over 25 years in film and video production and post production, screenwriter/producer/directors Maurice Kelly and George Blumetti have worked on over 1,100 feature films and countless television serials and specials for clients such as Paramount Pictures, MGM, Sony/Columbia, LionsGate Entertainment, American Zoetrope, Overseas FilmGroup, HBO, Showtime and Starz.

Gabriel Coll Barberis

Gabriel Coll Barberis is on of the highest respected Sound Mixer’s in Mexico.  He is the owner of Sony Pro and has been in the industry for more than twenty years.  He has worked on many Blockbusers films such as “Limitless” and “Nacho Libre”.

Salvador “Chava” Cartas

Chava Cartas is a Mexican filmmaker with over 15 years of experience, he is considered Mexico’s entertainment élite, working as DP, producer, writer, and director. Chava studied photography at the school “Hospicio Cabañas” in Guadalajara, Jalisco. He also attended “Escuela de Cine y Televisión” of San Antonio de los Baños in Cuba. 

Chava first began his career as a Director of Photography while working in the competitive marketing industry. He has collaborated with important recording artists such as Aleks Syntec, Kabah, and Moderatto. Chava has been the DP on more than ten films, with titles including:"Amar te Duele", "Niñas Mal” and “Atlético San Pancho”. He has won several awards, including the “Pantalla de Cristal” award for Best Photography. The first film Chava directed, “Amor Extremo”, showed his enormous capacity as storyteller. In 2008, he opened the production company, “5.6 Cine”, with the idea of creating quality and interesting projects that are able to compete with foreign productions. His hard work and vision led him to form an amazing team in which helped him succeed in developing, filming and releasing “Rock Mari” (2010) in less than a year and a half, which became an instant commercial success.

Trevor Anthony

Trevor Anthony’s accomplished writing career started with his play "Your Time Will Come" which was produced in Chicago at the Stage Left theatre with great reviews. "Your Time Will Come" was then adapted as a screenplay where it was a Semi Finalist at the So Cal Film Festival.  Trevor is grateful to have his comedic short film "Pits" along with his thriller "Uninvited” produced and shown in festivals. In addition, he was flattered when his comedic full-length feature script, "Living the Dream", was named  one of the Top 50 comedy for the Golden Brad Award. Trevor also is the Host for the INDYCAR Fan Village, along with being a professional actor where he has been featured in reviews in the LA Weekly and Tolucan Times.
